After Care & Maintenance
-
Your given rinse time is NOT optional! Times vary between 1-4 hours depending on the level of darkness wanted (you CANNOT get wet/sweat during this time)
-
At rinse time (set a timer) rinse with cool/like warm water only. Guide bronzer off with hand if needed. A lot of color will come, this is normal. Do NOT shave, use soap, oil, lotion and do NOT wash hair at this time. Pat dry, do NOT rub.
-
After your rinse you may wear whatever you choose, you may get wet or sweat (minimal)
-
It takes 12-24 hours for tan to fully develop. After you rinse, you will look lighter, but it will continue to develop.
-
After 24 hours from your session you may shower and wash hair (no scrubbing)
-
After your first "real" shower, begin using moisturizer twice a day. Lotions specifically for spray tans are best to help prevent streaks, blotches and fading (products available to purchase)
-
Using a tan extender & mitt are beneficial to help with fading & prolong the tan. Tanning mousse is also helpful for touch ups & fading (both available for purchase)
-
Tan extender- lotion with a touch of a DHA to keep up the tan
-
Tanning Mousse- mousse with higher DHA for more color (use daily to reach desired color, keep on 8 hour minimum)
-
Rapid Tanning Mousse - mousse with higher DHA for more color (keep on 1-4 hours depending on desired color)
